Kool-Aid and Easter Eggs?

Letters from you

My granddaughter and I went to the grocery store to buy Easter Egg Coloring kits. It was almost closing time. And the store had no more coloring kits. I freaked. My granddaughter ( 9 yrs old. ) started to freak out. No food coloring either was available. Then I noticed, on a isle was Kool-aid mixes. Then I thought it dyes my fingers, why not eggs. She is only going to find the hidden eggs and not eat them. So we bought 7 different colors. When it came to dye them. We put each type of kool-aid with 1/2 cup of boiling water. For 15 minutes.

I couldn’t believe it. They turned out so bright and beautiful. Even had a smell of fruit. And my granddaughter loved them. Easter was saved.

Found this great site to help me with my decorating needs. Easy affordable guidance from a professional right from my computer. I found it easy to use and was pleased that I could go on even in the middle of the night to choose the areas I needed help with. I desperately needed help with accessorizing my great room and didn’t have to leave my home to purchase the suggested items. I can’t wait to use it again to put the finishing touches on the rest of my rooms. The site is DecorateAndPaint.com. Check it out.

Oh, Rachael, I hope you read this. Please stay on the air for a very long time. I come from a very Scandinavian background. My husband as well. As 2nd & 3rd generations we were brought up with simple very non-spicy foods. I am a very good baker.(hee hee). After loosing my job due to a merger I had to find another job and was lucky enough to get a job at an elementary school in the KITCHEN!! When your show first aired it was on at 11:00 on our network. How sad for me when I went back to work in the fall. Then it changed times to 2:00, yeah!! So I get to watch you after I get home if I rush. I have been buying spices and I don’t use recipes but just add from watching what you do. I just had to say my piece and THANK YOU for being you!! PLEASE keep it going as long as you can. I turned 60 last year and I like it when you talk about your Mum. She did a good job raising you. (oh, my daughter gave me your magazine as a Christmas present). I just love reading it. A # 1 fan.

Hi Rach, After watching your show this morning i’d like to tell you a little story about my invention. It’s a Quit smoking kit. If you check out my web page you’ll see what i call the tools to help you with. I’m a broke inventor who believed in something that evryone who smoked needed! I made a ceramic safety device that helped you to extinguishin a much cleaner and safer manner. Thats the piece you see in that box. But after 12 years,People have told me how it helped them cut down automatically and how they used it to even quit. I was wondering if you’d like to hear the whole story and if you can use it as a fund raiser for your charity Yum-O..Thanks for your time Duncan

  9. Duncan Grant Says:

Can i tell you a story about a “quit smoking kit” and the inventor And a product you can use as a fund raiser for Yum-o. Gov’t stats: no such thing as a fire extinguisher for cigarettes. I developed the 1st cigarette extinguisher that buy accident became the primary tool in a new quit smoking system. Developed by the smokers who used them and how they used them to cut down. They said it was a given! so i carried on to complete the new kit. Please email me to hear the rest of the story. Thx Duncan

When I make develed eggs, for any occasion, I color the whites. No one I know has ever seen this, but it is soooo cool. When I slice the cooked eggs I put them in a food color bath til they are the color I want.TA-DAH!!! Pink and blue for baby showers, wedding colors for bridal showers, pastels for easter, red and green for Christmas, you can even get deep jel colors for thanksgiving . Please share this ,
