Rachael made this salad last night and I was lucky enough to stop over for dinner. It could not have been simpler to make. She took a:
- 1 pound of orechiette
- 1 head of radicchio
- 1-2 tablespoons orange marmalade
- Drizzle of EVOO
- Drizzle of Red Wine Vinegar
- Salt and Pepper
Put a pot of water on the stove and bring to a boil. Boil the pasta until al dente. Drain.
Meanwhile, while pasta is cooking, rinse and dry radicchio and chop to a shred. Whisk together marmalade, EVOO and vinegar in a large bowl. Add warm pasta to the bowl of dressing and radicchio and the radicchio kind of cooks.
It’s amazingly good and simple!

I purchased those Marnee cookies that you had on your show in July ( I realize you dont endorse them, they are paying to be on the show) but I thought you should know that they were terrible. They were stale and arrived all broken. I order food online all the time and these cookies were the worst! Buyer beware Marnee’s cookies are horrible.

Help in Korea!
Hi Rachael! I am an expat in Korea and find it so difficult to cook here since I am not familiar with many of the produce they offer. Ever consider traveling around the world to help out the expats who need serious cooking help?! Would love for you to come and visit and show me as well as many of the other American expats, how to make comfort food with local produce and products the Rachael Ray way!

I cannot find the recipe Rach did on Thursday, August 7th. It was an especially tempting mac and cheese with variations. I can’t remember what else she put in it but I would love to try it if you would be so kind as to send it to me. Love the show. Thanks a bunch.

Hello Rachel: My son and I decided we were going to make your individual pot pie recipe together. We went to the store got all the groceries and began to cook. I asked Jason to place two tablespoons of butter in the pan and that is just what he did. It was so, so funny. I look over to the pot and in it were TWO TABLESPOONS and Two scoops of butter all in the pan. We love your show and all the wonderful recipes. We have fun making them at home.

Rachael,
I love your show and tape them everyday. I get a lot of good ideas from those you have on your show. You are enjoyable and full of interesting information. I also love the charitable things that you do.
Keep up the good work. Amy Campbell

Dear Rachel,
My name is Bhavini Shah,[age 12], and I am a very big fan of your show. My family and I are vegitarians (by religion) and don’t eat meat, eggs, seafood, poultry, and gelatin. I wanted to ask you if you could put more tasty vegitarian recipes on the show. I don’t mean salads, I’m talking about casseroles, pastas, full dinner meals, etc. I would also like to ask if you could show how to make tasty eggless desserts (cakes, cupcakes, brownies, muffins, etc.) I also want to be a great cook when I grow up. Not as a profession but at home. I want to become an all around good mom, Thankks so much rachel!!
LOve,

Rachael,
Please help. I am 69 years old and am over weight. I have type 2 diabetes and love food. I am Italian so pasta and bread are my down falls.
I love to munch and am trying to find things that won’t affect my blood sugar. I know celery and carrots, but somehow they just don’t appeal to me. What else can I try?
Thanks,
Amy

I know you always use fresh herbs, but the only fresh herbs I find around here are already wiltey looking and slimmey looking in the plastick bags, and they are really expensive so the average person can not afford them. is there anyway you can use dried herbs and have somewhere close to the same flavor?
Thak You

The Radiccio and Orechiette looks so delicious in the picture and sounds great in the recipe. Obviously I can see the type of pasta you’re referring to in the picture (or I wouldn’t have known by the name), but what is Radiccio? or is it Orechiette that is not the pasta ingredient that I dont’ know??????
